This is a term that should be added to LEO, since it's extremely important for any company operating in the US (and probably other countries as well). If anyone can confirm the German side, I'd be happy to propose it.
@nataan: This means that the contractor must buy insurance to pay for expenses such as medical treatment, disability payments, and damages in a civil lawsuit, in case a worker is injured while working. The insurance is very expensive, because there is a risk that a jury can decide that the employer should pay millions of dollars.
'Agent' probably has a specific legal definition, but I am not a lawyer. In my opinion, you should really pay a lawyer or a legal translator to translate something this important.
