let students make up their own minds

    Topic

let students make up their own minds

    Comment
→ inform students about JFK's life, but also about the historically important events during the time of his presidency and his role in it

→ let students make up their own minds about which version of JFK's assassination is the most plausible one

→ provide the students certain information about JFK, but let them also acquire knowledge on their own with given material

Kann mir das bitte jemand von der Grammatik her verbessern? Danke im Voraus !

The English is very good. (I note that the second item correctly puts both "students" and "minds" in the plural. German would handle that differently, nicht wahr?)

    In the first item:

during the time of his presidency and his role in it

the "it" here seems to refer to "presidency"; but then the statement is vacuous: JFK's role in his presidency was to be president ...

You probably want "them" intead of " it," with "them" referring to "events": JFK's role in the events of his time.

which version of JFK's assassination is the most plausible one

This is not incorrect, but I think it's preferable to leave out "one":

which version of JFK's assassination is the most plausible

    or possibly:

which version of JFK's assassination is most plausible

I think I prefer the last version.

his role in it - I agree with ion1122. I don't understand what this is intended to mean.

'provide the students with ...' (in BE at any rate).

Or: 'provide a certain amount of information ... but let the students ...'
