Das ist schon knifflig. Da das Abblendlicht abgeschaltet ist, wäre es zunächst logisch, dass sich die "engine lights" auf das Standlicht bezieht. Das wär dann aber "park(ing) light" oder "side light" - ich glaube nicht, dass das jemand als "engine light" bezeichnen würde. Insofern vermute ich, dass die Armaturenlichter allgemein gemeint sind. In so einem Auto leuchtet heutzutage ja eine ganze Menge Zeug.

Ich muss noch hinzufügen, dass der Motor läuft und das Auto in Bewegung ist. Am Steuer sitzt natürlich ein Bösewicht, der von den Überwachungskameras weiß und nicht identifiziert werden will.

Tunnel sind beleuchtet und ich guck auch nicht immer auf meine Armaturen, besonders wenn viel Verkehr ist.
