NOTE: Ancient thread exhumed!
Sometimes it seems I'll do anything to avoid getting back to work after lunch... This time it was a rabbit hole with bees, because I was looking for "oder auch" (wondering if it has any meaning besides "oder," although that's a matter for another thread). I did a search for the German "title" suggested by Peter (#3) above and found out there was indeed a movie, released in 1991, called
Wax, or the Discovery of Television Among the Bees
From the first several hits that come up in a search for that title, it sounds... intriguing.
"A man recalls the story of how his bees implanted in him a bee television, causing him to lose all perception of space, time, and self in the deserts of the American West."
Here's a link to some information on it in German:
Apparently it has a place in Internet history, having been uploaded in 1993.
(If this whole thread is suggested for deletion because it's not really useful linguistically, I promise I won't cry about it.)
And now it's back to the mines for me...
