Was bedeutet "no need to trip"?

"No need to trip, I'm known for my excellent fashion sense"

do not worry about it. In other words forget about.

no need to verstehe ich mal als do not

This meaning of "trip" maybe ... but why the "tripper" will be reassured by the speaker having a good fashion sense is hard to imagine.

I also think it could be trip as in trip out, i.e. freak out or worry unnecessarily. But like CM2DD, the fashion sense reference escapes me. Could you give more context, i.e. the lines before and after?

Kein Grund, aus dem Gleichgewicht zu geraten.
