In an e-mail from the support of a software company I found this text and don't understand what is meant with 'alongside'. It's about creating a software-package that doesn't run afterwards.
What might be the difference between
'capturing it alongside C++ 2015 redistributable'
'having the C++ 2015 redistributable installed locally on the machine'?
In the second case C++ exists alongside the software in question on the computer - and isn't that just the same in the first case?
Original text from the support:
'What I did was:
- capturing it alongside C++ 2015 redistributable
- adding the ExternalDLLs line to the Package.ini I asked in a previous email
- having the C++ 2015 redistributable installed locally on the machine'
