    "Holy moly mackeroly" is my personal favorite. :)) And in the Batman and Robin TV series, Robin used to put "Holy----, Batman" in front of all sorts of phrases, like "Holy stratosphere, Batman".

    Isn't Bimbam onomatopoeic for a chime?
    It reminds me of an old joke we made when we were much younger. We pretended the "heiliger Bimbam" as the genital of the pope. The penis is the rope and the testicles are the bells. Bimbam for the glockenspiel and heilig for the pope!
    But don't take this too serious and no offence meant! ;-)
