Somit handelt es sich bei dieser „Giovio“-Medaille wahrscheinlich bloß um eine Satyrdarstellung, wie sie in der italienischen Plastik und Graphik der Zeit im Schwange war.

I've never heard of "to be in full vogue." It's just "in vogue" and it's an older term. Most people would just say it's "in" or "popular" or "fashionable."

Some of these so-called online dictionaries are pretty worthless and I often wonder if someone is actually translating or if it's just a computer doing it.

"In vogue," as Bill says, is right.

Chipotle chilies are in full vogue, but I didn't expect to find them on my dessert plate. As part of a sour cherry chutney, they brought an off-putting heat to an apple tart (in a one-two punch, the kitchen had worked jalapeño cheese into the tart crust).

Well, it sure makes me feel old to hear that "in vogue," which seems perfectly normal to me, is considered an "old term." I also have no problem with "in full vogue."

I think people should exercise caution before dismissing something as non-existent just because they don't use it themselves. I have caught myself doing this in the past, but it doesn't require much work to check current usage on the Internet and perhaps learn a thing or two.

Believe it or not, "in full vogue" is attested (OED) as early as 1692! "In high vogue," "in great vogue," "in greater vogue," "much in vogue," "in no vogue," also make occasional appearances. Nevertheless, these variations are somewhat out of vogue, small wonder then that some native speakers find them unusual.
