Ich wollte so etwas sagen wie "Er ist leicht zu erschrecken." bzw. "Er erschreckt sich schnell." Ich dachte "easily startled" wäre richtig, doch mein Lehrer sagt, dass easily falsch ist...

"Why are you so easily frightened," He replied, "you men of little faith?" Then He rose and reproved the winds and the waves, and there was a perfect calm.

"The next most common meaning of 'afraid' is 'to be frightened'.
But remember that 'afraid' can't be used before a noun, so we can't talk about 'an easily afraid person'. That's not right.

    Instead, try these:
'He's an easily frightened person' or even simpler, 'He's easily frightened.' "

Wenn Deinem Lehrer die Bibel nicht "geheuer" ist, gib ihm dieses Beispiel aus BBC World Service: Learning English.
