    Wer kann eine passende Übersetzung vom Englischen ins Deutsche geben? Zusammenhang: "In response to pressure from parents and Congress, networks now seem to be trying to tone down the thud and the blunder."

    "Blood and Thunder" "Thud and Blunder" this is an example of a "Spoonerism" where the initial letters of a phrase are swapped to give two new words. "Blood and Thunder" means, roughly, "Sturm und Drang" - a way of speaking with violent imagery to arouse strong emotions in the audience. Not an easy translation though..i would love to help aber leider habe so wenige Deutsch.
