    English missing

    'sport coverage' or 'sports coverage'?

    Subject

    'sport coverage' or 'sports coverage'?

    Sources
I am translating a German academic's text focusing on print media coverage of sport/sports into English, and have so far used sport reporting or sport coverage for terms such as 'das Thema Sport', 'der Mediensport' etc. Is this correct, or is it better to speak of 'sports' coverage instead?? And what, exactly, is the difference here? Am confused. Thanks for your help.

At least in American English, I would use "sports".

And I'd use sports coverage in BE too.
