    Derived forms

oestrous (ˈoestrous) or oestral (ˈoestral)US estrous (ˈestrous) or estral (ˈestral) ADJECTIVE

In keeping with other LEO entries, the British "oe" forms -- "oestrous" and "oestral" -- should to be included, as well as an [adj] flag.

"oestrous/estrous" is more common then "oestral/estral"
