Norbert: I was just kind of cruising on the following page of LEO and thought that the term anonimize/anonimyze appeared under a separate section. And, kabooom, there it is.http://www.leo.org/cgi-bin/dict/forum/forum.cgi
On the other hand, I agree, by the frequency of submissions which are outright incorrect "at this time", meaning they don't (yet) appear in any validated dictionary ( such as synonimize) you appear to be suggesting there should be a special section in Leo, (heaven help all the "newbies" trying to learn a second language) which allows you to TEST DRIVE newly coined words. In that way, everybody knows the rules. Without commonly understood rules, ...chaos. Rule number one in communication breakdown. (so, until I see a word entered in the dictionary, it's a td [test drive]. I suppose that some people "speed" around here too, but I try to keep it in bounds.
So, why don't you make LEO a proposal they can't refuse. Stuff like this keeps you sharp, right? Here's something to draw on, from the evolutionary perspective of species as well as language. "What came first, the chicken or the egg". Neither..... it was a Schicken which laid the egg, (mutated) which hatched the chicken(as we know it today). (And now Duden to straighten out the mess)Welcome to genetic engineering 101. ;-)
